The resources at this the link may be helpful to families coping with the consequences of social distancing. With parents and children confined at home, proper food preparation, safety and storage procedures are more important than ever. These resources provide evidence based information to answer questions and provide guidance on food safety practices.

Making the HEALTHY Choice the EASY Choice is an online course designed to meet the needs of professionals working to increase access to healthy food and physical activity options for low-income individuals and families. Nutrition educators and other public health professionals can increase access to healthy food and activity options in communities through the use of policy, systems, and environmental approaches (PSEs). This course provides both an introduction for those new to PSE approaches and a more in-depth overview for those with more experience with PSEs.  To learn more...… 

CHFFF now in SNAP-Ed Toolkit!  The Choose Health: Food, Fun, and Fitness (CHFFF) youth curriculum, developed by our group, is now in the SNAP-Ed toolkit, and was showcased at the Association of SNAP Nutrition Education Administrators (ASNNA) meeting in February.  To learn more…..
