Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
EFNEP is a federally funded nutrition education program for low-income youth and families delivered through the Cooperative Extension Service in every state and U.S. territory. In New York State, EFNEP is administered through FNEC at Cornell University. Find out more about EFNEP.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education (SNAP-Ed)
SNAP-Ed is a federally funded program to support participants of the Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) to make healthy food and physical choices within a limited budget. The program is implemented through state social service agencies that contract with service providers. In New York State, the program is administered by the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. Find out more about Eat Smart New York.
WIC Program – Women, Infants, Children
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offers nutrition education, breastfeeding support, referrals and a variety of nutritious foods to low-income pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum women, infants and children up to age five to promote and support good health.
